Seeking an Electrical Assembler to wire and test control panels and wire them to the equipment.
* Primary focus is electrical assembly but will also include general mechanical assembly as needed.
* Must have a solid work history and great attitude. Although this is indefinite to start, there is a good chance this will turn into something permanent down the road. They want someone for the long run.
* Strong preference for a related E/M Technical Degree.
Position Summary
* This self-directed position is responsible for safely assembling the Company's products with quality workmanship to ensure they are ready to test / ship as designed and as scheduled.
* It involves the intricate electrical assembly of a variety of complex production jobs with the primary focus being electrical panel layout and wiring.
Essential Functions:
·Layout, punch, and wire electrical panels and equipment per drawings and specifications using industry best practices.
·Mount components on electrical sub panels in accordance with Company procedures using drilling, tapping, and fastening techniques.
·Pipe, wire, and assemble components, sub-assemblies, and equipment per drawings and specifications.
·Pull interconnect cables and wire plugs.
Other Duties:
·Keep assigned work on schedule and supervisor informed of progress and issues.
·Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
·Communicate timely and respectfully with supervisor and co-workers.
·Take pride in all tasks completed and work with other team members to continuously improve the

·High school graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
·Associate's Degree in manufacturing, automation, electronics, or other related field would be an advantage
Experience
·3 - 5 years in electrical assembly or panel building
