Argus Technical Services is Hiring a Bookeeper Near Madison, WI
- Responsible for a portfolio of properties:
- Paying bills (including mortgages, insurance, regular AP etc.)
- Making Deposits
- Distributing Capital
- Reconciling bank statements
- Generating monthly accrual basis financial statements, including journal entries
- Processing security deposit dispositions
- Taking tenant calls and communicating with property owners
- General office duties
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- Rent Manager – industry specific software for tenant ledgers and financials, correspondence and reports
- Microsoft Office – some spreadsheet work and document preparation
- 2 year accounting degree or commensurate experience
- Willing to work overtime as needed; particularly January when working on year-end financials and August with student turnover. There is mandatory overtime in these 2 months.
