Argus Professional Storage Management (APSM) is a national company located in 26 states. We manage various type of storage facilities. We are looking for a Capital Improvement Coordinator to join our growing team.

Essential Functions:

• Research property information for our work order database and insurance applications.
• Develop project scopes of work for capital improvements, repair, and maintenance items.
• Approve completed capital improvements, repair, and maintenance items.
• Work with Director of Facilities, Regional Directors, District Managers, Site Managers, vendors, and clients to complete property capital improvements.
• Work with APSM staff and clients on emergency non-budgeted capital improvements.
• Support the development and maintain Argus’ Facilities Maintenance and Work Order Database.

Qualifications:

• Two or more years of construction experience as a project superintendent or project manager.
• Understanding and knowledge of 2-3 Story, Stick Frame, Type V Vertical construction and older brick buildings for rehab and remodeling projects.
• Knowledge of contracts and skilled in contract negotiation.
• Experience managing subcontractors and vendors.
• Experience scheduling and managing site work.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with sound judgment.
• Must be highly organized, detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, and have the ability to work effectively and independently with a positive high energy attitude.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or an equivalent degree is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
