Leasing Associate - NYC Property Management Office

Summary:

The Leasing Associate requires strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, strong math acumen, and the capability to multitask. The successful candidate should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, demonstrate adept problem-solving skills, and have an understanding of the NYC Leasing scene. While a real estate background is preferred, it is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

Confirm and communicate requirements for lease applications in coordination with the Director of Leasing and brokerage.

Prepare initial leases for all incoming new tenants - both Market Rate and Stabilized.

Send new onboarding documents and welcome packages (emails) to new tenants.

Prepare rent-stabilized leases for monthly mailing, ensuring timeliness.

Print and prepare lease documents and appropriate riders.

Record in USPS proof of mailing book or spreadsheet.

Prepare renewal offer letters for Market Rate tenants.

File lease renewal documents, transcribing renewal terms on file jackets.

Prepare lease transmittal forms for Manhattan, sponsor, and third-party units.

Mail signed copies of Manhattan, sponsor, and third-party renewals to tenants.

Provide coverage for Leasing/Management Associate and handle miscellaneous filing.

Process leases and lease renewals for co-ops.

Photocopying/scanning of documents for discovery and other general administrative tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
