The Preventative Maintenance Tech will be responsible for the performing preventative maintenance on all of the equipment in the plant. Must have knowledge of circuit boards, industrial/manufacturing equipment, hand tools, power tools and other industrial systems. Most importantly this person should possess expert knowledge of how to problem solve real word maintenance issues in real time.

• Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical and electronic principles.
• Operate safely according to safety standards and practices.
• Repair, installation or maintenance activities.

• Monitor tool and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of shops to ensure adequate working conditions.
• Perform skilled repair or maintenance operations, using equipment such as hand or power tools, hydraulic presses or shears, or welding equipment.
• Develop or implement electronic maintenance programs or computer information management systems.
• Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment consistent with Arglass policies and procedures while striving for zero accidents.
• Maintain an effective working relationship within functional area and with other departments ensuring effective and timely communication.
• Partner with other departments to resolve issue and create new solutions

Professional Background/Education

• Certification in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Maintenance highly preferred
• Technical Education or equivalent work experience required
• Minimum 1 years glass experience preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar position preferred

Minimum Relevant Job Experience:
