Join the Thomas Ranch Team, the first-of-its-kind development of a 2,200-acre inspired master-planned community that aims to renew the relationship between land and people. The ideal candidate is a self-starting, detail-oriented, effective communicator, who will lead with integrity, and professionalism. This is position is similar to a ranch hand with combined elements of a house manager, including landscaping, housekeeping, gardening responsibilities, and errand running for our internal staff and high-end tenants.

Core Responsibilities:

• Groundskeeping and Landscaping
• Light housekeeping and support for internal staff
• Errand running as needed
• Provide support with event logistics, budgets and invoicing, and analytical reporting

What you will do:

• Water plants at both property locations
• Trash removal from in-house/offices and to central trash throughout the week
• Handle recycling
• Feed farm animals and collect eggs from quail and chickens, etc.
• Tend to and help plant garden to include harvesting when needed
• Weed management and removal of debris and down limbs as well as seasonal lawn maintenance, edging of walkways, leaf blowing, and raking as needed
• Brush maintenance and removal (using chainsaws and heavy equipment)
• Clean and maintain swimming pool from debris as well as pond maintenance
• Refuel and run cars through carwash on a bi-weekly basis with occasional maintenance at car dealership
• Weekly and/or bi-weekly grocery runs to restock refrigerators
• Weekly office cleaning and emptying of office trash cans
• Bedroom refresh and turning of bedrooms for next or upcoming occupancy as needed
• Occasional touch-up painting and small maintenance/R&M needs
• Possible furniture moves and retrieval from storage center as needed
• Weeding of all ranch gates and branding (1-2x/month)
• Raking of riding area (2x/month)
• Cleaning of horse stalls (as needed basis)
• Other duties as assigned

Ideal Candidates Are/Have:

• Outstanding professionalism
• A trustworthy self-starter with a can-do attitude
• Excellent track record of understanding the big picture and rolling up their sleeves to get stuff done well
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Take pride in their work

• Experience working at a country club or high-end resort helpful
• Real Estate, Development, or Hospitality experience highly desirable
• Transportation to and from work
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds

This is a full-time on-site position at our Spicewood location.

Compensation details: 15-20 Hourly Wage
