What You'll Do:

The Sr. Analyst, Investment and Asset Management will work closely with senior executives and department heads and will be involved with all aspects of real estate acquisitions and development, including financial analysis and modeling, site acquisition, due diligence, legal document review, budgeting, construction, and asset management. This position will be integral in driving the value of active projects. This position works closely with management throughout the organization, to ensure the strategic goals and values are achieved. This position is based in our Salt Lake City office, and will report to the Director, Investment and Asset Management.

Core Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Prepare detailed financial models and investment memos including those for transaction underwriting and return on investment analysis
  • Conduct assessments related to site acquisition and development feasibility
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of business plans, including annual operating plans, financial forecasts, strategic plans, and product introduction financial plans
  • Proactively maintain and review ongoing performance reports related to the financial and operational performance of the asset or portfolio in conjunction with budgeted expectations, operational metrics, and underwriting returns
  • Provide post-acquisition support by developing baseline asset management systems, reports and processes that support the development of strategic short and long-term plans
  • Use quantitative and analytical skills to assess the asset's overall health status, capital needs, risks mitigation, budget & proforma achievement progress

  • Prior investment banking and / or real estate development experience desirable
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance, or a related field
  • Track record of hiring, managing, and scaling up teams and processes
  • NetSuite, Hyperion experience a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Highly skilled in Word and especially Excel
