A local company is seeking a Receptionist who will be responsible for providing an excellent visitor and client experience, through thoughtful hospitality, and with a variety of administrative activities and related tasks. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. This company is located on the Eastside of Cleveland, Ohio.
Job Duties:
  • Greet the public in person and on the telephone, provide general information, answer questions, and direct individuals to appropriate party as necessary
  • Direct leads and inquiries to sales staff on a rotation list 
  • Perform general administrative duties for all management and administrative staff; sorting, mail, typing, copying, and filing correspondence and other documents
  • Effectively using Microsoft Outlook Suites and other programs
  • Run credit card transactions and manage petty cash
  • Provide coffee, water, and other hospitality items for visitors 
  • Observe neat and tidy housekeeping and safety habits at all times, and follow all policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED; Some College or advanced training is preferred
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to interact and work effectively in a diverse community
  • Must be adaptable and flexible to allow for many types of tasks and assignments within a given day
  • Must have a polished and professional appearance, and a warm, sincere, and welcoming personality, with a calming and understandable demeanor 
  • Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment with demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle competing tasks and demands
  • Must have a working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, mail merge, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software; MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Nexus, and ACT
  • Must be able to work independently, as well, as in a team environment
