Area Agencies on Aging Association of Michigan is Hiring a HealthCare Partnership Project Manager Near Lansing, MI

Job Overview: As the Healthcare Partnerships Project Manager, you will drive the strategic planning and implementation of healthcare initiatives in collaboration with Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) members and health plans. You will be responsible for designing and managing an efficient operating model, maintaining compliance with regulatory changes, and ensuring successful partnerships through effective communication and collaboration, between AAA’s and health plans.

Planning & Implementation:

  • Lead Project Planning: Develop and manage single contract strategy for member AAAs.
  • Drive Projects: Oversee day-to-day tasks and ensure projects advance efficiently.
  • Operational Management: Design and manage an effective operating model integrating people, processes, and technology to achieve business goals.
  • Data Expertise: Familiar with health plan data for D-SNP.
  • Stay Informed: Maintain updated knowledge of regulatory changes related to HIDE-SNP programs.

Liaison to AAA Members:

  • Coordinate & Communicate: Work closely with AAA members to ensure a shared vision and alignment with health plans.
  • Contractual Obligations: Educate and communicate on contract obligations to guide workflow redesign and strategic planning.
  • Performance Monitoring: Oversee achievement of key performance indicators to sustain successful partnerships.
  • Feedback & Issue Resolution: Serve as a central feedback channel to escalate issues with health plans.
  • Process Development: Collaborate with AAA members to create templates and reporting systems.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Provide expertise on health plan requirements for AAA members.
  • Engage with Leadership: Attend 4AMI leadership meetings to discuss agenda items and track follow-up steps.
  • Data & Information Exchange: Establish processes for data exchange with contracted partners.
  • Standardization: Work with AAA members to unify voice, processes, and workflows for consistency and standardization.
  • Proactive Collaboration: Partner with AAA members to identify and address participant, member, and contracting entity needs.

Main Point of Contact for Health Plan:

  • Primary Contact: Act as the main liaison for health plans.
  • Communication Management: Gather and share health plan communications, data, and reports with AAA members.
  • Operational Meetings: Organize operational implementation meetings to ensure contract adherence and compliance.
  • Coordination of Audits: Work with health plans to conduct readiness audit activities.
  • Trend Monitoring: Track and report emerging trends for escalation to health plan partners.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Required for this role.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in initiating and executing operations, including project and team management.
  • Consensus Building: Strong experience in driving consensus for effective decision-making.
  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 10 years in managed care, accountable care organizations (ACOs), provider contracting, or similar fields.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of metrics and trends, with the ability to identify emerging trends.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Successful track record in implementing regulatory requirements.
  • New Entity Development: Experience in establishing new entities from the ground up.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership capabilities and skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
