Job Description:

The Security Integrator Estimator is responsible for evaluating project requirements, estimating costs, and creating comprehensive proposals for security integration projects. This role combines technical expertise with strong analytical and organizational skills to provide accurate estimations and support the sales and project management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Review project specifications, blueprints, and customer requirements to assess the scope of work and identify the security integration needs. Determine the required materials, equipment, and labor necessary for successful project implementation. Prepare detailed cost estimates, including itemized breakdowns of expenses, labor hours, and subcontractor costs. Collaborate with the sales team to develop comprehensive proposals that outline the project scope, timeline, deliverables, and associated costs. Address any questions or concerns clients may have. Coordinate with suppliers to obtain accurate pricing information and establish relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods. Stay updated on the latest security integration technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Provide technical guidance and recommendations to the sales team, project managers, and clients. Work closely with internal teams, including sales, project management, engineering, and installation technicians, to ensure seamless project execution. Collaborate on project design, system integration, and troubleshooting as needed. Maintain accurate records of project estimations, proposals, and revisions. Generate reports and documentation to support project handovers and ensure a smooth transition from the estimation phase to project execution. Identify opportunities to enhance estimating processes, tools, and templates. Implement improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in estimating security integration projects.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience being an estimator, 5 years in the security integrator field
• Proven experience in estimating security integration projects
• Strong knowledge of security systems, networking, and low-voltage cabling
• Proficiency in using estimation software and tools
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to security integration
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines
