Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
- Stock supplies such as food or utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars
- Sweep or scrub floors
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
- Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment
- Assist with food preparation and cooking when needed
Skills:
- Knowledge of food preparation and handling techniques
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment
- Basic culinary skills and understanding of kitchen operations
- Experience with bussing tables or working in a food service environment is a plus
- Strong work ethic and willingness to help out wherever needed
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a restaurant/hospitality setting
