About the Position.
ARDE (ardekids.com) is looking to hire an after-school enrichment instructor with extensive
classroom experience who can start teaching with us in [TERM, for example, Fall 2024 or
School Year 2024-2024].. This position is perfect for an educator who has extensive experience
working with elementary and middle school students, enjoys working with kids, and enjoys
watching young students thrive!
Applicants for this position should have some availability during mid-afternoon teaching hours
(3 pm-5 pm) a few times a week. This position is perfect for part-time teachers, substitutes,
retired educators, education students, specialty instructors, etc.
We will provide you with the curriculum for the class(es) but strongly encourage you to improve
your student experience by enhancing the program with your teaching style and personality.
About ARDE Enrichment Classes
We are now actively hiring instructors for two programs Architecture (K-2, 3-5) and Model
United Nations (4-5, 6-8) but in the subsequent semesters, you will be able to teach other
subjects. Having experience teaching one of these or similar classes is a plus. Please let us know
during the interview and we will do our best to assign you to the teaching openings that suit your
interest and experience.
Who You Are:
- An educator with extensive classroom experience and a strong work ethic
- Must have fingerprint clearance or willingness to obtain one, if needed
- Punctual, reliable, and easy to communicate with via email and telephone
- Have a college-level education or are an education student
- Have a clean background check
- Able to provide at least 2 relevant references
- Availability for after-school hours
