Arctic Air Conditioning is Hiring a Plumbing Technician Near Old Bridge, NJ

Since 1977, Arctic Air Conditioning, HVAC, Plumbing, and Electric, located in Old Bridge, NJ has been focused on giving our customers the best value. We understand that calling for plumbing or HVAC service is often not anticipated, so we make sure to give our customers as little stress as possible.

Due to our expansive growth, we are looking for Plumbers to diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems. Whether customers need us to install full piping and new fixtures or simply need a drain unclogged, we have them covered. Our mission is to provide quality plumbing and create happy satisfied customers for life. We’re looking for plumbers who have strong communication and technical skills. If you have experience in residential plumbing, and your friendly personality makes customers happy, then we want to talk to you.


Pay Range:
$18.00 to $40.00 per hour, DOE

Responsibilities

  • Build and establish customer rapport to ensure we are providing great service
  • Educate and assist customers on their home, finance options and maintenance plans
  • Be professional and knowledgeable: keep current on manufacturers products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair
  • Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work, as necessary
  • Documents work by completing paperwork on each job
  • Provides technical support to customers
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose identify and repair residential plumbing ranging from faucet repairs, water heater installations, to repipes with appropriate tools and materials for repair
  • Uses a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units
  • Train and mentor apprentices as needed
  • Participate actively in trainings and meetings
  • Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure the satisfaction of our customer base and to win referrals
  • Commit to high standards of ethics, honesty and integrity
  • Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations.


Requirements:

  • 2 years of plumbing experience; residential or commercial
  • Possess basic hand tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Must be able to multi-task and work independently as well as contribute to the overall success of the team
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, possess and maintain a satisfactory driving record
