We are currently seeking a Sr. National Sales Manager for our Norman, OK office. In this role you will manage all of the sales activities in the designated geographic region and have responsibility for all sales in the territory assigned regardless of the source of the material supplied to the region. As a Sr. National Sales Manager, you will also have responsibility for pricing, sales volumes, delivery (as needed) and sales activity reports for the region.

What You Will Do:
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• Manage and direct all sales people assigned to the territory.
• Work closely with the regional marketing/technical team to develop leads, explore opportunities and close deals.
• Work with the Vice President of Sales to set sales targets and goals for the region.
• Work with the marketing team to prioritize marketing activities in the region.
• Manage the activities of the sales team to grow the overall sales volume.
• Develop budgets for region sales activity by customer.
• Create a sales plan to deliver the results needed to achieve sales volume targets.
• Generate mid-month sales forecasts and enter in SharePoint.
• Work with Operations, Marketing, Logistics, and Admin support.
• Provide timely reports by markets for month end documentation.
• Ensure proper use of CRM and CMD-Insight.
• Monitor and approve all mileage, expense, and other reports for cost control.
• Coordinate sales activity with Plant Managers, and the other affected RSMs.
• Work with logistics manager for material rate verifications
• Monitor regional sales distribution terminals to ensure appropriate inventory volumes.
• Participate in Regional and National organizations as directed to complement marketing efforts.
• Travel up to 50-75% of the time
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

What You Will Need:
• Minimum of 7-10 years of technical sales and marketing or sales management experience; or equivalent in education, training and work history required.
• Candidate should have a broad knowledge of the construction products industry.
• General business knowledge plus an understanding of the industry - products, trends, market drivers and specifications are vital.
• Complete product knowledge of lightweight aggregate and its uses.
• Knowledge of the construction process, including phases of project delivery from conception to completion.
• Ability to analyze and compare technical data and specifications.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills required.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent motivational skills to organize their sales team to success.
• Knowledge of market conditions and competition.
• Proficient use of CRM software, such as SalesForce or NetSuites is required.

Working Conditions and Physical Environment
• Air-conditioned/heat office environment. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
