Job Summary:
We are seeking a Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. As a Customer Service Associate / Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling transactions, and assisting customers with their inquiries. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service
- Process customer transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels
- Collaborate with team members to ensure customer satisfaction
- Follow company policies and procedures
Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Knowledge of wireless, technical, or electronics sales is desirable
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Time management skills to ensure efficient service to customers
- Experience working in a grocery store or similar retail environment is beneficial
