We are looking for a temporary bookkeeper for a two-month assignment, with a potential to join our finance team as a full-time hire.

YOUR IMPACT IN THE ROLE:

• Administer state employment and revenue accounts, including set-up, closures and audits.
• Manage simple set of books for two sister agencies and run reports.
• Manage all vendorinvoicing, reviewing accounts payable for the agency.
• Keep organized agency files.
• Assist Finance Team with any other appropriate related tasks as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Professional experience as a Bookkeeper for small to mid-size businesses (2 years is a good marker).
• Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping, accounting payable and trial balance principles.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• A desire for data entry and a knack for numbers.
• Digitally savvy (no paper here).
• A working knowledge of cloud-based accounting and HR management systems.
• Committed to learning Netsuite, Quickbooks, Monday, Expensify, Namely, Dropbox and Slack platforms.
