Job Responsibilities:

• Learn and master increasingly complex tax concepts within a vibrant team culture.
• Engage in discussions on moderately complex tax issues with both the engagement team and client management.
• Stay updated on current tax developments and effectively apply tax knowledge to client scenarios.
• Analyze client tax situations and develop practical and effective solutions, arriving at appropriate conclusions.
• Communicate concepts effectively to team members and contribute to achieving team objectives.
• Analyze information and formulate and implement effective plans for clients in complex areas.
• Assist in the completion of tax returns, including those for closely-held Partnerships, LLCs, S and C Corps, Trusts, and High Net Worth individuals, under supervision.
• Prepare quarterly and annual federal and state tax projections for corporations and individuals.
• Contribute to the preparation of internal research memos to aid executives in decision-making on complex issues.
• Participate in the engagement planning process by completing various assignments and providing input for internal budgeting.
• Engage in client interactions and discussions as needed.

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience in a professional services environment is required
• Must have satisfied the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam and be prepared to obtain CPA certification within 18 months of starting employment.
• Exposure to federal income taxation through education or professional experience.
• Strong ability to learn new information and actively participate in tax solutions for our clients.
