Elevator Origination Manager

This is a full time, Exempt position.
Position Summary:
Elevator Origination Manager position for Clarkfield MN, Boyd MN, Tulare SD, Miller SD, and Harrold SD includes origination management of: Producer future accounts, on farm producer visits, Focusing on origination staff, andor position and risk management of all futures and options trading accounts either PGP or outside of PGP.
Supervision:

Reports to: Grain Department Manager, Prairie Grain Partners, LLC
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions of this role are providing management of Grain Origination staff activities and Futures and Options trading functions for all locations. Other significant duties are as follows:

• Responsible for managing producer origination staff within PGP.
• Manage Futures and Options risk for all PGP locations.
• Responsible for correct and efficient cash management for PGP.
• Foster team atmosphere across commercial and operational activities.
• Manage Futures and Options P&L for the locations, including trading activity for all products handled.
• Perform tasks as directed by PGP management.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Four year College graduate preferred. Previous Futures and Options Trading experience of 5-8 years required.
• Experience: Farming/merchandising/agronomy background/accounting a definite plus.
• Skills: Financial knowledge of general P&L statements, accounts payable/receivable processes, understanding of AGRIS accounting program, risk management tools for Grain. Computer skills and experience with Excel spreadsheet and Microsoft word processing applications, PowerPoint and Outlook. Ability to interact with variety of personalities.
• Requirements: Committed to corporate ethics policies and safety programs. Attend training sessions (external or internal) to keep on top of new technology and innovation.
• Proficiencies: Experience with Excel, Microsoft Power BI, and AGRIS accounting is preferred.
