REQUIREMENTS:
BS/MS degree in related field
Valid Illinois Professional Educators Licensure with endorsement in Biology
Strong verbal & written communication skills
Openness to collaboration and instructional coaching
Ability to pass criminal background check including fingerprinting
Commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
Ability to support the school's Mission
PREFERENCES:
Teaching experience in biology and/or environmental science at the secondary level
Exhibits patience, flexibility and creativity with younger science students
Ability to work with a diverse student population
Encourages students' spiritual growth both inside of and outside of the classroom
Values personal and professional growth
Cultivates a collaborative learning community within professional learning teams
Exhibits collegial practices focused on improving instructional practice and student learning
