If so, our fabulous newly renovated dental office in Willowbrook is looking for a Dental Assistant who can aid in all parts of the office, all while doing it with the best customer service!

Responsibilities and Requirements of the Dental Assistant:

  • 2 years of experience required
  • Welcomes patients in the dental office and performs new patient interviews and tours
  • Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment, and procedural materials
  • Sterilize instruments and treatment rooms in accordance with regulations
  • Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
  • Undertake lab tasks as instructed
  • Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
  • Schedule appointments
  • Maintain accurate patient records

Skills of the Dental Assistant:

  • Proven experience as dental assistant
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of OSHA health & safety regulations
  • Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus
  • Exceptional computer skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Well-organized and reliable
  • High school diploma
  • Dental assisting certificate preferred
  • Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA)

Schedule (Alternates between Week 1 and Week 2)

Week 1: Monday - Thursday

Week 2: Wednesday - Saturday

  • Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 8AM–5PM
  • Wednesday & Thursday: 11AM–8PM
  • Saturday: 8AM–2PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
