We are currently hiring a to join our Food Service team. You will be working at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot located in Point Loma. The Arc of San Diego provides food and sanitation services, serving up to 15,000 meals per day, 365 days per year. You will work alongside your team, role modeling appropriate work behaviors, demonstrating food service skills, and facilitating a positive, safe, work environment.

**Who you are:**

* An experienced supervisor in the food service industry.

**A typical day will include:**

* Supervising Mess Attendants on:

Cleaning and sanitizing the Military mess hall, common areas and loading docks.

Serving food.

* Training new employees on proper procedure and ensuring completion of work.

* Translating employer needs to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

**What youll need to be successful:**

* Comfort working at a .

* 1 years of direct supervisory experience in food service

* Ability to move 50lbs.

* Willingness to adhere to and enforce uniform standards.

**Wed love it if you:**

* Had previous experience as a Job Coach

* Were bilingual - English/Spanish

* Had 6 months experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities
