ARC of Butte County is Hiring an Executive Director Near Chico, CA
Responsibilities include overall administration of the agency, including management of fiscal and budgetary policies and procedures, program development and administration, fundraising, public and interagency relationships, grant writing, and employee hiring and supervision. The Executive Director is ultimately accountable to the Board of Directors in terms of implementation of the Board's policies and directives.
- Include a minimum of a BA or BS degree in Social Welfare, Public Administration, Business Administration, Education, Social Work or a related field and a minimum of two years of related experience; or five years of experience in a human services delivery system, including at least two years in a management or supervisory position.
- The Executive Director shall demonstrate knowledge of local, State and National governmental affairs that affect persons with developmental disabilities; and shall inform the Board, membership and clients of Arc, and the public of actions which should be taken to advance the interests of persons with developmental disabilities.
