The Mechanical Assembler will assemble components and perform functional testing at our E L Anderson Blvd facility in Claremore, OK.

In this role, you will be responsible for

* Coordinating work efforts to perform assembly from components per assembly drawings/bill of material

* Overseeing functional testing on assemblies, ensuring test assemblies per customer and/or division criteria

* Operating test equipment in compliance with engineering standards

* Monitoring and applying settings, calibrates and maintains assembly tools

* Working on new product lines and other projects as assigned

* Working under the direction of the Supervisor, Group leader, or experienced associates in the area

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will have:

* A minimum of a high school diploma or GED

* 3 years of experience in a hands-on mechanical role such as mechanical assembly or mechanic (preferred)

* Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and Word

* Understanding of lean principles and 6S

* Strong mechanical aptitude; familiarity with the use of common hand tools and precise measuring equipment

* Solid understanding of blueprints and bill of materials

* Ability to follow manufacturing methods; be safety and quality-oriented

* Very good written and verbal communication skills

* Manufacturing environment experience

* Lean manufacturing experience

* Stable work history

* Understanding of complex assemblies

* SAP experience

* Team player

* Self-motivated
