We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for our assisted living in St. Petersburg, FL. This position is Monday-Friday 8am-4pm with occasional nights and weekends.

The ideal candidate will be A/C certified, have general electrical and plumbing knowledge, ability to repair appliances, paint, perform light carpentry repairs and basic troubleshooting. Strong organizational and communication skills, a proven ability to work independently, time management skills and ability to take initiative and solve problems are essential.

Job Responsibilities:

• Continually inspects the residence, grounds, vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good repair and provide a safe and attractive environment for residents and staff.

• Develops and implements a preventive maintenance program to ensure all building systems are in working order while ensuring compliance with all building codes, governing agencies and required system inspections.

• Work with E.D. to develop and maintain a maintenance budget while keeping up-to-date inventory of required supplies in a safe and organized manor.

• Motivate, supervise and train all housekeeping and maintenance employees while ensuring adequate staffing in the housekeeping department.

• Owns responsibility for a safe working environment by constantly promoting employee safety and ensuring all employees and residents are trained for any emergency situation.
