Job Title: Lead Food Service Worker
Department: Operations
Reports to: Food Service Director
Position Description
The Lead Food Service Worker performs a wide range of duties involved with administrative tasks and with preparing and/or serving foods and beverages in one or more of a variety of food service environments. May perform such duties as preparing salad items, hot foods, and/or cold foods, and/or assisting in the preparation of bakery items, as appropriate to the position. Directs and assists Food Service Workers in cleaning work areas, equipment, utensils. May assist in the set up, and service; and collection of garbage/trash; as appropriate to the area of operation. May serve food to customers and/or perform cashiering duties, as appropriate.

Physical Requirements
The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands: frequent lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling up to 50 pounds; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 10% sitting, 40% walking and 50% standing. This job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.
