Enjoy the freedom to innovate, grow and make a difference as part of our global sales team. You’ll work in partnership with our clients to provide custom proposals for their fastening and assembly needs.

Manages the company’s relationship with A. Raymond North America customers. Represents the company’s products and capabilities to the customer in a professional manner. Responsible to collect, organize, input, and follow through of all RFQ activity. Coordinates and manages customer requirements within the organization.

Role and responsibilities

  • Support Key Account Mangers With strategic customers.
  • Manage relationships with House/Smaller accounts.
  • Quote completion:
    • Receive RFQs via email or portal
    • gather all necessary information from customer
    • determine type of product or product number to quote, with assistance if needed
    • confirm proper manufacturing and shipping facilities
    • begin internal new development processes if required
    • gathering costing information
    • determine proper pricing
    • create quote with Salesforce
    • submit quote to customer via email or portal
    • follow up on quotes
  • Manage contract review processes and PPAP requests
    • verify accuracy of purchase orders and approve when correct
    • clearly communicate customer requirements to internal team via email and/or meeting
    • start PPAP requests in project management software, if required
    • book/forecast new business
  • Manage sample requests
  • Coordinate completion and/or customer document
  • Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies.
  • Reach sales goals as set by business plan.

Education and experience

  • Experience in manufacturing and/or automotive industries preferred
  • CRM experience required
  • Distribution/Commercial sales a plus

Skills

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate within a team.
  • Ability to multi-task.
