Empower Field is the home of the Denver Broncos and a wide variety of concerts and specialty events! Our grill cooks are responsible for cooking the different foods items a concession stand has to offer.

This is the position for you if you enjoy high volume & fast paced operations, preparing food items on a grill or fryer, and working in food and beverage for some of the best events Denver has to offer!

Additionally, as a team member in the Aramark Flex program, you will have the opportunity to pick up shifts that fit your schedule using ReadyOn, a flex workforce app.

Pick and choose which events you are interested in working, without fixed schedule requirements. Aramark’s flex-time roles are perfect for candidates who value flexibility and are comfortable signing up week-to-week.

Wages may vary based on role or event needs but will always be at or above the base rate in your offer letter.

Job Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment communicates quickly when a need arises to ensure productivity continues
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items (as needed)
• Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, grills, and uses a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods
• Arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to established guidelines
• Ensures compliance with food temps and documentation throughout event
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils as per guidelines and policies
• Ensures clear and concise communication with stand leads, stand workers and cashiers
• Maintains excellent, friendly, and efficient customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers
• Ensures security of company assets
• Accepts constructive feedback and provides ideas, concerns to and from leadership

This role reports directly to Concessions Stand Lead and Concessions Supervisor.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older (Required)
• Experience as a cook in a related field or environment (Required)
• TEAM / TiPS Certification (Preferred) will be trained upon hire (as needed)
• ServSafe or Food Safety Certification equivalent (Required) will be trained and certified upon hire (as needed)
• Basic math and counting skills (Required)
• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 25lbs.
• Exhibit and practice the highest level of guest satisfaction skills
• Willingness to accept change and new procedures
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, meet production / service time schedules, and adapt to necessary and unforeseen changes
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision

This role will have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and / or extended walking and standing.

This role requires uniforms and the usage of PPE including but not limited to, burn sleeves and apron and gloves.

Compensation Data

If hired, employee will be in an at-will position and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department / team performance, and market factors.
