A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN RN UNIT MANAGER As an RN Unit Manager at our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, you are responsible for overseeing the operations and clinical care delivery within a designated unit or area in the facility. You play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care by providing clinical leadership, staff management, and a commitment to excellence. The Unit Manager contributes to the overall success and reputation of the facility.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN RN UNIT MANAGER

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing nursing practice in long-term care facilities.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
