About the Growth Marketing Team:
Our Growth Marketing Team serves as a self-reliant one-stop shop marketing team that helps nurture
growth for S1 different business lines. The team is responsible for Search, Social, Display, App
advertising, Native and Email Marketing.
Media Buyers live in the data and collaborate frequently with analytics and engineering teams to
continuously improve user conversion funnels. You will be a performance marketer who is obsessed
with growth and not afraid to get their hands dirty. You will be a collaborative team player who
partners with peers across paid media, product, analytics, creative, and finance to drive results. This
role will be working on RoadWarrior, Startpage, and Waterfox initiatives and potentially, more brands will
follow down the line.
What You Can Expect on the Team:
- Manage and scale a portfolio of PPC campaigns on proprietary search sites using Google Ads and Bing Ads
- Manage large monthly budgets across campaigns, with the goal of increasing ad spend and gross profit
- Thoroughly test ad copy and experiment regularly to discover new growth avenues
- Use data visualization tools like Excel, Google Sheets, Google Analytics, and Tableau to analyze campaign performance and report to internal product owners
- Partner with technical and product teams to improve search infrastructure overall and increase growth capabilities across owned sites
- Test and learn across new and existing platforms to uncover new opportunities for customer growth
- Lead mobile app initiatives to drive app downloads. Scale the user base via paid advertising, App Store Optimization (ASO) efforts, and drive organic downloads and sharing
- Oversee and continue to improve tracking, attribution, and overall data access to analyze key metrics, including downloads, active users, CAC, CPI, LTV. and return on ad spend
What You Can Bring to the Team:
- 2 years’ experience scaling PPC campaigns using Google Ads, Yahoo Gemini, or Bing Ads (or a combination thereof)
- Must have some past experience in running GDN, Social, or App campaigns.
- Strong skills with search-based bidding strategies and optimization techniques
- Exceptional analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills
- Experience managing monthly ad spend of at least $100,000 and optimizing KPIs like ROAS, CPA, RPI, LTV, etc.
- Strong understanding of A/B testing and incrementality tests
- Can adapt to new situations quickly, ability to learn new buying channels/platforms when needed.
- Have an innate intellectual curiosity.
- Have a strong sense of ownership with great execution skills.
- Self-motivated, who has the ability to work independently.
- Detail-oriented, meticulous organizational skills, ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- App Store and Google Play experience a huge plus
- Experience in app-centric tools, deep-linking, push notifications, and digital media optimization is a plus
