Aqueduct Irrigation / Southern Light is Hiring an Irrigation Technician Near Bowling Green, KY
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Repair existing underground sprinkler and drip systems, including malfunctioning heads and nozzles.
- Adjust spray heads for correct coverage.
- Mitigate all irrigation-related safety hazards.
- Operate equipment.
- Apply a surgical approach to all work.
- Maintains professional communication with technicians, irrigation supervisor and the general public.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as an Irrigation Service Technician.
- Ability to repeatedly lift 25 pounds and kneel/bend/stoop for extended periods of time.
- Age 21 with valid driver's license (in order to be insured by our provider)
Working Conditions:
- Extensive driving and walking.
- Exposure to: weather conditions, pesticides, fertilizers, pollen producing environment, paint and petroleum products.
