- Processes accounts receivable transactions.
- Verifies amounts owed and received and ensures that transactions are recorded properly and accurately in accordance with internal accounting policies.
- Maintains and reconciles accounts receivable ledger accounts.
- Analyzes accounts receivable transactions to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting principles.
- Maintains and reconciles accounts receivable Ledger and prepares management reports including reports of delinquent accounts.
- Analyzes trends in bad debt and recommends improvements to account receivable vendor inquiries.
- May be responsible for ad hoc customer billing and responding to customer inquiries regarding bills.
Requirements
- Two – four years of related AR experience.
- Significant Excel knowledge.
- Prior experience with an ERP system, preferably Infor/Syteline/Intellidash.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
