Practice Manager

At Vera Whole Health, our Clinic Manager has accountability of the operational and administrative functions core to the success of the clinics, and partners with the Lead Provider who oversees the clinical outcomes within their clinic. These dyad relationships are responsible to ensure exceptional delivery of patient care. You are the accountable person to assure the clinic teams receive the resources and training essential to patient care as well as the champion of quality improvement and collaboration in our team-based clinical model.

Position Qualifications/Essential Functions:

? Accountability for assuring the mission, vision, values of Vera Whole Health using the coach approach in accordance with Personnel Policies.

? Accountability for the overall team member development and management of the clinic team including hiring, development, training and adherence to policies and procedures to assure delivery of an exceptional patient experience.

? Accountability for designing and implementing action plans to meet client contractual performance guarantees, company clinical goals, and other key performance indicators.

? Accountability of budget development and adherence including inventory management, scheduling, payroll, patient flow etc.

? As the leader of the care center, serves as first point of contact for investigating and responding to patient concerns and care center incidents/reports.

? Leads care center teams through new company initiatives and process changes; champions change and facilitates rollout strategies within the care center for company initiatives and process changes

? Accountability for regulatory compliance, patient and team member safety, adherence to policy and procedures and compliance with state, local, and national standards and guidelines.

? Facilitates and owns communication of mission, vision, projects, and direction of Vera Whole Health and serves as the glue that connects the field team members and the support office.

? Works with Regional Director and clinic team members to assure client needs and expectations are met through client communication, review of contractual metrics and action plan development to address issues, and implementation of initiatives. Is accountable along with the Lead Provider to assure meeting of all contractual agreements.

? Collaborates with Regional Director of Operations and Lead Provider (as needed) to compile and report out on client, company, and care center key performance indicators.

? Manage projects as assigned to support departmental and organizational strategic initiatives.

? Accountable for patient experience in the clinic including the assessment and enhancement of workflow, resolution of patient complaints, and ensuring team member engagement to improve the overall clinic experience.

Education/Experience:

? Bachelor's degree with course work in administration or equivalent five years' work experience as operations manager in a similar environment.

? At least one year's managerial experience in health care clinic.

? Experienced with developing, implementing, and evaluating annual and long-term operating and fiscal plans (1-to 3-year forecasted budgets) highly desirable.

? We require CPR certification (BLS) pre-hire.

? Documentation of proof of a negative TB test in the last 90 days before start-date.

? Annual influenza vaccine is required

? COVID 19 immunization is required by end 2021

? Strong computer skills including experience with MS Office suite.

Additional Qualifications:

? Proficient with medical terminology.

? Clinical experience.

? EMR familiarity experience required.

? Project management experience preferred.

Employee Health Requirements:

? Documentation of Hep B vaccination or proof of immunity (titer).

? Documentation of proof of a negative TB test in the last 90 days before start-date.

? We require CPR certification (BLS) pre-hire and ongoing

? Documentation of annual influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations in compliance with company policy

Physical Demands:

? Requires looking at computer monitor/screen for extended periods of time.

? Requires repetitive motion and use of hands for computer keyboard and mouse.

? Requires sitting for extended periods of time.

? Requires travel to different clinics

? May include up to 50% travel based on location of clinics of oversite

Compensation: $70k-$90k/annual salary (national average, premium markets may vary)
