Sales Representative duties and responsibilities

The main responsibilities of a Sales Representative revolve around the ability to network, build relationships with clients and persuade others to purchase products. There is a wide range of duties in this position, including to:

• Be knowledgeable about the service
• Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion
• Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
• Emphasize the features of our service to highlight how they solve customer problems
• Answer questions about the service
• Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements
• Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships
• Be comfortable going door to door, cold calling, and prospecting potential property owners, areas are typically provided after a storm date
• Preform a property inspection safely, and be able to identify storm damage. This also means that you need to be able to go up and down a ladder and scale a roof. Certain roofs that you cannot scale will be done by the sales manager.
• Helping the Homeowner through the insurance claims process.

All Training for these duties will be provided ASAP by the sales manager and other sales representatives.

Qualifications

• Sales experience is appreciated but not required
• High School Graduate
• Need a valid Drivers License and Vehicle

Pay type includes: Commission and Bonus Pay, Bonuses are very lucrative and can be up to a $20,000 end of the year bonus as well as other smaller bonuses throughout the year for good performance
