APCCO, an Industrial Refrigeration design, build and service provider for the food and beverage industry, is currently seeking a Compliance Manager to lead the Compliance Division to provide regulatory compliance support for APCCO Divisions and customers. The CSM is responsible for managing all day to day activities and processes in the Compliance Department and for strategic growth and expansion objectives, including obtaining new customers and selling additional services to existing customers. The CM is responsible for ensuring that the compliance department is providing a high level of accurate and up to date support to customers and APCCO’s Construction Divisions. The CM contributes to a broad spectrum of service elements and functions, enhancing service projects, construction projects, improving customer relations, anticipating and solving problems, and assisting to maintain an efficient and positive working environment.
Of equal importance, the CM plays a central role in maintaining open communication and partnerships with compliance team members, customers, suppliers, and all APCCO team members. This emphasizes the need for the CSM to maintain a problem-solving mindset, to anticipate problems and to develop constructive and balanced solutions.
The CM will have oversight of Productivity and Quality of the department, including services, SOP's, technical support, quoting and selling Compliance work to customers, conduct audits, write detailed reports and oversight of the Tags & Labels department. Work collaboratively with the Service and Construction departments to ensure proper documentation is in place and oversee the structure thereof and organization and timeliness and proper filing/recordkeeping of documents.
The CM will work closely with customers to assist them in maintain proper regulatory compliance through the services of APCCO; handle questions as needed; make decisions based on customers needs, desires and expectations, following APCCO standards. Maintain free-flowing information and cooperation at all elvels and coach team members in how to sustain and develop customer relationships and support their Vision/Mission/Goals, and coach team members for effective communication with customers.
The CM will define strategic goals that suppots APCCO's Vison/Mission/Goals; build a well-qualified and trained professionals; driver internal process improvement and implementation as the department grows; work in fostering a collaborative environment with other departments and lead by example, creating a positive positive team atmosphere by modeling and promoting teamwork, diversity, cooperation, communication, professionalism, and respectful mannerisms among all APCCO team members, and hold team members accountable to do the same; work with HR in ensuring compliance with company policy.
The CM will have financial oversight of the Compliance Services Division; review an d analyze work orders for efficiency and profitability; and abide by approved budgets.
