Unlike most CSR roles, you will build ongoing business relationships with our customers through repeated contact and consultation. As this is a service and parts center, our ability to win and retain customers’ business often depends on your ability to quickly and efficiently provide them with just the right parts and/or solutions – especially when customers are experiencing costly equipment breakdowns. You will also, on occasion, have the ability to utilize your mechanical aptitude to help solve customer problems or troublesome processes.

  • Assist customers by phone and in person at our facility
  • Use your customer service skills and talents to clarify their needs, do research, and (after you get up to speed) recommend parts
  • Be focused and driven to meet / exceed monthly sales goals while increasing customer satisfaction
  • Process quotes, take orders and provide post-order service
RequirementsOur Customer Service Representatives are self-motivated and driven by a desire to exceed expectations. They have strong prioritization and multitasking skill, a sense of urgency, and take pride in their verbal and written communication. Interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport and build solid relationships with a wide variety of customers are critical.
Specific Qualifications For The Role Include
  • 6 months of customer service experience preferred
  • Desire to increase knowledge in industrial distribution products
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Ability and desire to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Enjoys working with computers, including basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook & Excel) and comfortable with Google search engine
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR)
  • SAP / ERP experience, preferred but not required
  • Some knowledge of industrial distribution products and hydraulics, preferred but not required
