Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall operations of the company. You will assist in managing the daily activities, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth. Duties: - Assist the Store Manager in overseeing all aspects of store operations - Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues or complaints - Assist in recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing team - Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts - Implement visual merchandising standards to maximize sales potential - Assist with budgeting and financial management, including monitoring expenses and revenue - Utilize POS systems to process transactions and manage cash handling procedures - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop strategies for achieving sales targets - Maintain a clean and organized store environment Skills: - Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role in a retail setting - Strong budgeting skills and ability to analyze financial data - Proficient in using POS systems and retail math calculations - Excellent training and development skills to coach and motivate team members - Knowledge of inventory management practices and stock control procedures - Effective leadership abilities with the capability to make decisions under pressure - Exceptional phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries or issues - Multilingual skills are a plus, but not required - Strong team management skills to foster a positive work environment We offer competitive pay rates, opportunities for career growth, and a supportive work environment.
