Position: Commercial Roofing Estimator

Location: Cape Coral / Ft. Myers, FL. area

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 DOE 401k full benefits (health, vision, dental, PTO)

Our client is one of the most reputable roofing contractors in the southeastern United States, servicing FL for over 15 years. They are one of the largest roof repair and replacement companies in the United States and are experiencing double digit, year over year growth. Due to massive growth they are looking for an experienced Roofing Estimator to work in their Cape Coral / Fort Myers office, which is one of their busiest regions.

The ideal candidate can oversee multiple projects from all aspects: design, estimating, owner selections, and execution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed estimate for residential projects (shingle, tile & metal)
• Analyze requirement documents, blueprints and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project
• Determine what factors of production will influence the cost
• Maintain current market pricing for materials in the estimating system
• Generate job cost reports
• Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and contractors
• Perform hand-off meetings to assigned project managers
• Present prepared estimates to management

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Construction or similar field, preferred
• 2 years of experience working as a roofing estimator for a commercial roofing company
• Familiarity with The Edge estimating software, is a HUGE plus
• Familiarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for residential projects
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer proficient
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders and perform roof inspections
• Valid driver's license
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify)
