We have grown from a single discipline electrical engineering firm to a multi-discipline firm offering mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design, architecture, interior design, healthcare planning, fire protection, commissioning, RCDD, and project management services.
We are seeking an Electrical Designer to assist our electrical engineers and senior designers in providing professional design services for healthcare and commercial building projects. They will assist in developing layouts for electrical circuits and systems for power distribution. Our Designers prepare sketches of ideas, detailed drawings, or blueprints, using drafting instruments, or computer-aided design tools.
The Electrical Designer position is an excellent opportunity for experienced and entry-level designers to enter a supportive work environment. You will work closely with architectural and mechanical designers to ensure a cohesive project.
The successful candidate has one or more years’ experience in electrical drafting. A background in commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within building and power designs is a plus.
Computer skills: Revit, AutoCAD, and MS. Office Suite.
Educational Requirements: High School Diploma; Associate Degree (preferred).
Available to travel up to 20% of the time depending on the project.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
