APN Healthcare Solutions is urgently hiring multiple CNA's for our client in Newark, NJ for 13 weeks contract/Perdiem Job with a high possibility of extension.

Position Title: Certified nursing Assistant
Pay Rate: $18-$20.00 per hour
Work Location : Newark, NJ
Shifts: Day, Evening (7:00 AM -3:00 PM OR 3:00 AM -11:PM)
Contract Duration 13 week contracts or perdiem job
Licenses Required: CNA for the state of NJ

Certification Requirement: BLS/CPR

Requirements:

• 1 Year of Experience: A minimum of 1 year of CNA experience is required.
• Valid ID: A valid identification card is necessary for employment verification.
• Recent TB/Immunizations: Proof of recent tuberculosis screening and Physical.
• Preferred COVID

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate and personalized care to residents in the long-term care facility.
• Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring accurate documentation of residents' health status.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement and adjust care plans according to residents' needs.
• Foster a supportive and respectful environment for residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
• Engage in effective communication with residents, their families, and fellow healthcare professionals.
• Safely transfer and transport residents using appropriate lifting and transfer techniques.
• Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized living space for residents.
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff promptly.
• Participate in educational opportunities to stay informed about the latest developments in LTC and nursing practices.
