Apis Services is Hiring a Registered Nurse/RN (PT) Near Trenton, NJ
OR2 evenings per week 12-8 pm and every other Saturday.
- Administration of methadone medication to clients, assure proper recording of dosage and any changes.
- Assesses the client's condition and determines the client's ability to receive methadone.
- Proper safeguards of methadone accountability.
- Maintains proper client confidentiality.
- Assures client compliance with agency policies relating to methadone medication.
- Works with physicians in providing medical services to patients and staff, including physicals, and medical.
- Administers PPDs.
- Educates clients regarding treatment.
- Maintains complete and accurate Client Medical Records.
- A current New Jersey Registered Nurse license is required, BSN and license preferred, or Current New Jersey licensure as an LPN is required.
- Minimum Two years in a Registered Nursing capacity.
- Minimum Two years in Human Services or related field.
- Ability to work every other Saturday.
- Excellent communication skills and organizational skills.
- Excellent ability to work with clients with substance abuse and mental health disorders.
- Ability to train and evaluate multiple-level support staff.
- Excellent writing skills and record-keeping skills.
- Knowledge of medical conditions, psychiatric conditions, and medications.
