As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and dynamic individual to join our team as a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager.

Summary: The FP&A Manager will play a critical role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making across the organization. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial planning and analysis, providing actionable insights to support key business initiatives, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various departments to gather and validate financial data.
  • Develop financial models to forecast future revenues, expenses, and cash flows.
  • Analyze and interpret financial results, providing insights into potential risks and opportunities.
  • Assist in the creation of annual budgets by working closely with department heads.
  • Develop KPIs and performance metrics to track financial performance against budget targets.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify reasons for deviations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate periodic financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyze cost structures and identify areas for cost optimization.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of proposed business initiatives and investments.
  • Provide insights into cost trends and recommend cost-control measures.
  • Stay informed about economic trends, industry developments, and market conditions.
  • Conduct research to support strategic decision-making.
  • Assess the financial implications of market changes on the organization.
  • Identify and assess financial risks, such as market volatility, credit risk, and operational risk.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate financial risks and ensure financial stability.
  • Collaborate with other departments to implement risk management policies.
  • Evaluate potential investment opportunities, including new partnerships.
  • Conduct financial due diligence and assess the financial viability of investment projects.
  • Provide recommendations on investment decisions based on financial analysis.
  • Undertake special projects as assigned by management.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to address specific business concerns or opportunities.
  • Communicate financial insights and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Stay updated on financial best practices, industry standards, and technological advancements.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial analysis activities.

Must Haves:

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in finance or related discipline preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or similar, preferred.
  • Acute business & financial acumen
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills are essential for interpreting financial data and trends.
  • Ability to use statistical techniques, financial modeling, and data analysis tools to derive meaningful insights.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial statements.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, investment analysis, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel) for financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with financial software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex financial information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Ability to interact effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Adherence to ethical standards and a strong commitment to integrity in financial analysis and reporting.
