What You Will Do:

The Applications Engineer is the front end of a focused team which supports our growing sales and design efforts to develop custom cooling packages.

• Using knowledge of heat transfer, fluid flow and the performance of heat exchangers, design custom cooling packages and solutions that meet customer needs and specifications.
• Evaluate heat exchanger (radiator, oil cooler and charge-air-cooler) performance with respect to heat transfer and fluid flow and find cooling systems solutions for our OE customers. Onsite customer technical sales support and on-site cooling test support.
• Generate cost estimates, quotations and perform the necessary follow up activities to facilitate the award of new business.
• Work closely with other departments and the plant to ensure new models are delivered on time and meet all customer requirements.
• Monitor feedback from the field and initiate product improvement when appropriate.
• Support and manage post award activities to ensure products meet the customer's functional requirements.
• Participate in Engineering and New Product Initiative activities.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's in mechanical or electrical engineering or mechanical engineering technology.
• At east 5 years related work experience.
• Business acumen with proven ability to build a business case with analysis to support.
• Collaborative, analytical, and solution focused.
• Demonstrated ability to develop collaborative relationships.
