We are seeking dynamic Physical Therapist Assistants to join our innovative team of experienced professionals. As a member of our Physical Therapist Assistant team, your primary responsibilities will involve delivering patient care across the entire New York City metropolitan area, including the five boroughs, Nassau County, Suffolk County, and Westchester. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting patient services, implementing safety measures to prevent accidents in home environments, and facilitating referrals to other specialists when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid license as a Physical Therapist Assistant, currently registered to practice in the state of New York.
- Possess an Associate Degree from an approved/accredited program or school for Physical Therapist Assistants.
- Preferred one year of clinical experience.
- Deliver patient treatment in adherence to professional standards of practice.
- Maintain strict infection control measures and uphold patient privacy and dignity.
- Complete all documentation accurately and promptly, complying with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in ensuring the safe operation of Durable Medical Equipment for patient safety.
- Effectively convey treatment knowledge during daily patient and caregiver education.
