The Certified Nursing Assistant will provide high-quality care to each assigned patient, resident, or client with daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident/patient/ or client's assessment and plan of care.
Job Responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant:
Required to assist or complete resident activities of daily living according to the care plan/closet care plan for assigned residents.
Activities of daily living shall include but not limited to:
· Complete bathing of residents either by the bed, shower or tub.
· helping residents get dressed or completely dressing residents unable to dress themselves
· help residents who can use the toilet.
· wash, clean, and keep dry, residents who are not able to use the toilet.
Qualifications of the Certified Nursing Assistant
· MUST BE CERTIFIED BY THE STATE OF NEW YORK
· Certification must be active and current with no findings as verified by the Certified Nursing Assistant Registry.
· Physical
· PPD
· MMR & Varicella
· Flu Vaccine
