Technical Program Manager

• Location : San Antonio, TX
• Salary Range : $130k-$150k
• Duration: Permanent

What You Will Do:
Oversees the purpose and status of the projects in a program and supports project-level activity to ensure the program goals are met. Actively supports and acts as a team leader for the Project Managers while on one or more projects are in progress and works with senior executives and management to manage and/or adjust the roadmap as conditions change. Monitors the overall progress of the program to ensure that the scheduled projects are delivered on time, within budget, and exceptional quality. Acts as a team leader for assigned teams to deliver program related efforts; leading cross-functional teams to successfully drive projects to completion. Collaborates with Line of Business and Enterprise Technologies teams to plan and schedule program/project deliverables, goals, and milestones. Identifies potential conflicts in program and provides strategic solutions to ensure that timelines are met. Develops and maintains relationships across all departments within the credit union to ensure that there is communication and understanding of business and technology processes and capabilities. Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization's Values.
Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Business or comparable education and/or experience.
• Minimum five (5) years of project management and implementation experience.
• PMP/PMI certification.
• Subject matter expertise knowledge of project management methodologies.
• Subject matter expertise knowledge of project/program management methodologies.
• Experience with managing, influencing, and communicating to business partners to meet organizational project/program needs.
• Expert Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Microsoft Project or similar tools experience.
• Highly independent and able to work in a team environment, meet deadlines and take on responsibility and accountability.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be analytical and detail oriented.
• Work flexible hours as needed, including possible weekends.

Highly Preferred:

• Knowledge of the financial services business and the capabilities/features.
• Knowledge of the financial services business and the capabilities/features.
• Able to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
• Experience working with IT, engineering and QA/QC teams to move tests through implementation while balancing timeline, quality, and scope.
