A leading engineering firm in Charlotte, NC that specializes in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering is searching for a talented Electrical Designer to join their team! This is an exciting role that involves working on a variety of projects including hospitals, retail, and industrial sites. You will be responsible for reviewing architectural plans, designing electrical power and lighting systems, and coordinating with architects and construction vendors. Salary Range: $85, 000 - $105, 000 / year DOE
Electrical Designer Requirements:
3 years of experience in an MEP office, designing power and lighting systems for commercial buildings
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
Strong tenure with a focus on project delivery and quality
RCDD certification is a plus
Clear and honest communication skills
Team-oriented with a collaborative approach
Ability to adapt to a variety of project types and maintain a balanced workload
Electrical Designer Responsibilities:
Design electrical systems for commercial buildings, including power and lighting, panel schedules, and riser diagrams
Coordinate project timelines and problem-solving with architects and vendors
Utilize AutoCAD and Revit daily for project designs
Engage with a broad spectrum of projects throughout the US, ensuring effective teamwork and communication
