We are looking to add a Full-Time, Entry-Level Account Associate/Consultant. You are the face of the company. You will build relationships with clients and provide solutions to ensure their vision is developed and improve their buying experience. This is a great opportunity to learn about the Kitchen Cabinet and Granite Industry and connect with professionals in the field.

As an Account Associate/Consultant you will act as the liaison between APEX and our customers. You have an energetic and enthusiastic personality and pay close attention to detail. You uphold the highest standards of service and aim to please customers and resolve any issues with solutions. You are positive, caring, and know how to listen and clearly communicate with your customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Work cooperatively in fast-paced team environment
  • Greet and assist customers with selections and follow-through on their orders
  • Answer customer inquiries including over the phone, and email
  • Expectation to develop and bring on board new accounts by building an opportunity pipeline and offering strong technical and customer support.
  • Resolve customer service issues with little management intervention
  • Enter orders, follow-up on back-orders, invoice orders, and follow proper pick-up procedures in company software
  • Tracking products inventory and restocking.
  • Develop basic understanding of design and color
  • Gain knowledge of all current and new product lines
  • Service existing customers and new customers - some travel maybe required
  • Multitask and prioritize work through effective time management
  • Maintain a neat and organized workspace
  • Work within the framework of the company's defined policies and procedures
  • Any other duties required of the position

Education and Experience:

  • Ethical business practices
  • High school diploma - BS/BA preferred
  • One to two years sales experience or equivalent.
  • Interior design experience or knowledge a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Email and computer skills, Microsoft Office request, design software a plus.
  • Excellent and professional phone skills
  • Verbal and written English communication skills, Spanish a plus.
  • Self-motivated and willing to go the extra mile
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision. Can think on their feet.
  • Good teamwork experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to noisy.
