As a Community Liaison, you will play a vital role in engaging with our community, building partnerships, and promoting our fundraising efforts to maximize participation and support.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact between our organization and the local community, including residents, businesses, community groups, and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community members and organizations, fostering collaboration and support for our fundraising initiatives.
• Actively engage with community leaders, influencers, and decision-makers to garner support and sponsorship for our fundraising events and activities.
• Promote awareness of our fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives within the community through outreach efforts, presentations, and networking opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement community engagement strategies and outreach plans tailored to specific events and target audiences.
• Represent our organization at community events, meetings, and forums, and actively participate in relevant community committees and associations.
• Provide support and assistance to community members interested in participating in or volunteering for our fundraising events, including registration, fundraising tips, and logistical information.
• Collect feedback and input from community members to inform the planning and improvement of our fundraising initiatives and events.
• Keep abreast of community needs, interests, and trends, and provide regular updates and reports to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Community Relations, Nonprofit Management, Public Relations, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in community engagement, outreach, or fundraising is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with diverse individuals and groups.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as required for community events and fundraising activities.
