Are you passionate about community engagement and building positive relationships? We are actively seeking a dedicated Entry Level Community Relations Associate to play a crucial role in our community outreach initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between the organization and the community, establishing and nurturing positive relationships.
• Attend community events, meetings, and gatherings to promote awareness and understanding of our initiatives.
• Effectively communicate the organization's values, goals, and services to community members.
• Engage in outreach activities, both in-person and through various communication channels, to connect with the community.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with local community leaders, organizations, and residents.
• Maintain accurate records of community interactions, feedback, and demographic information.
• Provide regular reports on community engagement activities.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance understanding of the organization's mission and community relations strategies.
• Contribute insights and ideas during team meetings to continually improve community engagement efforts.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Some college coursework in communication, community relations, or related fields is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
• Approachable and able to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Empathy and active listening skills.
• Proactive and self-driven, with a willingness to take on new challenges.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and adjusting to evolving community needs.
• Openness to learning and growing in the role.
