What your day will look like:

• Offer developmental experiences across various domains including approaches to learning, social-emotional, language and literacy, cognitive and perceptual, as well as motor and physical development
• Create a multicultural learning environment through daily lesson plans and engaging classroom activities
• Ensure constant active supervision of all children in the classroom to ensure their safety and well-being
• Conduct standardized screenings to identify the developmental needs of children.
• Make appropriate referrals and follow-up, including for children with special needs, to ensure they receive necessary support and services.
• Maintain documentation as required, including lesson plans, Individual Education Plans (IEP), and Child Observation Record (COR).
• Fulfill any other duties assigned by the supervisor to support the effective operation of the classroom and educational program.

What we are looking for:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be willing to enroll in the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential program for Infants and Toddlers and obtain certification within 9 months of employment
